The workshop has been designed to support delegates who wish to develop and maintain an ‘expert’ level of understanding of financial crime risk management responsibilities, and delegates will be provided with an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of how these laws and regulations apply to operational activity, including details of the very latest from the UK FCA on the regulatory expectations under the Senior Manager Regime, and the role and responsibilities of the MLRO and Nominated Officer.
A key focus during the course will be to provide delegates with the appropriate skills and knowledge to meet the demands of international regulators whilst keeping a keen eye on managing compliance responsibilities in a commercial environment. This will include reviewing emerging best practises, and reviewing case enforcement action to learn more about how to increase operational effectiveness and compliance standards.
The course has been designed to meet the needs of senior leaders, and will be facilitated by a former MLRO and Head of Financial Crime to ensure that the content is challenging and the learning outcomes are meaningful.
The day will end with an FAQ session, when delegates will be provided with one final opportunity to clarify and confirm their understanding of all that has been covered.
