Course Manual

The course manual provides the core learning materials. Your final assessment will be based only on the information that can be found within this text.

It is anticipated that most delegates will be required to set aside not less than twenty hours of their time to complete their reading. Others may choose to spend more time learning and developing their knowledge and comfort with the subject. The course will remain open for you to complete for up to 120 days, during which time you will be expected to have completed the reading and the final assessment.

For those who wish to spend more time learning more about virtual currency, we have provided some self-assessment exercises that are designed to guide you to complete some practical exercises.

Webinar Support

To guide and support you in your learning, you are provided with some supporting webinars. These short sessions are intended to guide you to the identify the key learning outcomes from each unit of the manual and to ensure that your learning journey is as enjoyable and rewarding as we hope and intend it should be.

Self-assessment Questions

You have been provided with a sample of ten multiple-choice questions so that you may assess your knowledge prior to undertaking the final online test assessment.

When you have completed your reading, and feel sufficiently confident to take the assessment, you are encouraged to complete the short sample test. This will provide an opportunity to benchmark your learning and understanding against a sample of questions that are similar in scope to those you will face in the final assessment.

This assessment is not timed and you may complete the sample test as many times as you feel that this is necessary. These questions will not feature in the final assessment.

Taking the Test

The assessment is a timed exercise which will require you to answer 25 multiple choice questions in under one hour. The timer cannot be stopped or paused during this time, and it is therefore important that you make the appropriate preparations before you attempt to complete the assessment.

The following guidelines are provided to assist you:

  • The assessment is an open-book exercise so you may use additional supporting information to help you. Please note that the content on which you will be assessed will only be taken from the core learning manual.
  • Make sure that you are in a secure and quiet zone away from disruptions, and you have taken steps to avoid any unforeseen interruptions.
  • If you plan to take the assessment during work hours, be sure to inform colleagues that you should not be interrupted. The assessment is timed and you cannot stop the clock once you have begun.
  • Read the questions carefully. The questions have been designed to confirm key learning points from the course manual.
  • In the event that you are unsuccessful and do not answer at least 80% of the questions correctly, you are permitted two further opportunities to complete the assessment. You are however advised to wait 48 hours before re-taking the assessment, during which time it is recommended that the materials are revised again.

Good luck with the studying, we hope that you enjoy the course and we look forward to being able to confirm your success.
